NOGUCHI NAOHIKO 01 is the best of batch of Noguchi-san's LIMITED EDITION series, chosen as amongst dozens of tanks by Mr. Noguchi himself. It features fresh and sweet scents like lychee and melons, a rich umami enhanced by aging, an elegant acidity, and a long finish. Encased in an asymmetrical bottle designed by Toshio Ohi, one of the most eminent artists of Ishikawa Prefecture, only 5,500 bottles are to be released.

Noguchi Toji, now 88 years old, has been a Toji since the young age of 27. He has won 27 Gold Medals at the Annual Japan Sake Awards among uncountable other awards over his career and was even presented with the prestigious Yellow Medal of Honor for Master Craftsmanship by the Emperor of Japan.
