Kame no Umi Sasameyuki Junmai Ginjo Jikagumi Muroka Nama (720ml)

Sasameyuki refers to light dainty snow flakes, as a reference to the arrival of winter. Saku City in Nagano, where the brewery is situated, is known for its abundant snowfall, during the harsh winters.

A new release within the Kame no Umi line-up, this early winter release, captures the spirit of what's known as "First-Pressed" sake.  Bottled directly from the tank, & unpasteurized, the Jikagumi technique places an emphasis on offering an unadulterated expression which locks in maximum freshness.

Expect top notes aromas reminiscent of pineapples and fresh melons, and a pleasant sweetness of rice. Light effervescence & hint of spice makes this sake, a great accompaniament with Hot Pot or Nabe dishes

It has the freshness of new sake and a slightly spicy nuance of slight fizz. It goes great with hot pot dishes such as mizutaki.
