Probably most famous of the Nasu Kohgen lineup is the Nine Tail Fox series of aged barleywines. These are meant to be enjoyed as vintage beers and can be aged for up to 25 years. Current available brew vintages date all the way back to 1998, just 2 years after the establishment of the brewery. These are complex and strong character brews which only gain more layers and sophistication as they age, just as a fine wine.
那須高原ビールのラインナップの中で最も有名なのは、熟成したバーレイワイン「ナインテイルフォックス」シリーズです。 バーレイワインは通常のビールの１０倍以上もの時間を掛けて熟成させる、長期熟成が特徴のビアスタイルです。ナインテイルフォックスシリーズはヴィンテージビールとして最長25年もの長期熟成が可能。現在、 醸造所設立当時からからわずか2年後の1998年に醸されたヴィンテージビールが入手可能です。那須高原ビールが醸すビールは複雑で強い個性を持ち、上質なワインのように熟成させることでさらに層が厚くなり、洗練された味へと昇華します。
